Written Program Development & Review

Federal, state, and local regulations often require that health and safetywritten reviews programs be detailed in written form. However, having things clearly and concisely written also provides minimum expectations of employees and can be used as a basis for training and communication-all things that are needed for successful implementation of safe work programs and practices.
Off-the-shelf "cookie cutter" written programs can provide a template for successful definition of programs-but programs must be integrated into the business in order to be effective. There are always a number of ways in which to meet the requirements of the law or industry standards. Beautifully written programs do no good to anyone sitting on a shelf.
